New research says black coffee, in moderation, can actually stop tooth decay thanks to an antibacterial property in the coffee bean that helps destroy plaque. However, drink too much coffee and it’ll stain your teeth. Plus, the acid in the coffee will erode the enamel. So, stick to one cup of black coffee a day. Because adding a ton of cream and sugar will negate the effects.
