If you’d like to seriously improve your health, sit as far from your computer printer as possible. A report in the journal Environmental Science and Technology found one-third of laser printers studied emit ultrafine particles of toner dust……And when inhaled, those particles end up deep in the lungs, and increase our risk for asthma, respiratory problems, and diseases, like emphysema.

We all love our dogs. Our family dog Lucy sleeps in bed with us every night and she won’t let us leave the house with out her! She’ll literally jump in the car when no one’s looking! But as much as you love your dog, save your kisses for your human family members.

Getting a slobbery kiss from your dog can potentially make you sick. Some diseases can be passed from your dog to you, like roundworm and salmonella. Veterinarians say you shouldn’t put your mouth against any part of your dog. Dogs bring germs in from outside and clean themselves with their tongue. So, their fur, mouths, and bedding – as well as their food and chew-toys – can contain traces of E. coli, salmonella, and feces. So, wash your hands after playing with your dog, rearranging his bed, or using the pooper scooper.
