The repetitive motion puts a lot of strain on the tendons and muscles in our fingers, wrists and forearms…and can cause numbness or cramping. The fix? Before every texting session, orthopedic surgeon Dr. Aaron Daluiski recommends flexing your hands backwards and forwards at the wrist, and stretching your fingers apart as wide as possible.
