What’s the trick to overcoming a late night craving? Have a glass of water and wait 10 minutes. Registered dietician Elise Schapiro says symptoms of dehydration can mimic those of hunger. So, drinking water should make your symptoms go away. But if you’re still hungry after 10 minutes, choose a low-calorie snack, like a cup of plain Greek yogurt, or a tablespoon of peanut butter on whole wheat bread. And you should be good until morning.
