Here’s how to cool it down fast, according to auto expert Lauren Fix: Open all the windows about 2 inches. Crank the A/C – but only aim it toward your feet, using the setting that draws fresh air in from outside. That creates a vacuum that forces the hot air up and out of the windows. Then, once your car is cooler, close the windows, switch the A/C to recirculate – and you’re good to go.
