Researchers say needing to pee is one of the most incredibly distracting things to happen while you’re driving. According to Dr. Peter Snyder, the VP of Research at Rhode Island Hospital, feeling desperate behind the wheel – as in trying desperately to hold it – lowers your judgment and focus to a level nearly equivalent to being legally drunk.
So, if you have to go, don’t try to hold it! Find the nearest bathroom and pull over! And to find a bathroom, try these apps: “Flush” or “iExit Interstate Exit Guide.” There may be also be others that you have found that you prefer.
