Former flight attendant Erika Roth says, if you don’t want to wait for the lavatory, take advantage of two golden windows of opportunity: 1. As soon as the pilot turns off the seatbelt sign… And 2. Just before drink service begins. Roth says, during those times, passengers can realistically expect about 10 minutes of peace inside the restroom to take care of any pressing issues.
