Yes, pumpkin is a superfood. But even though your latte contains a little real pumpkin, it isn’t enough to have any significant health benefits. However, the cocoa powder in the hot chocolate is! The antioxidants and flavonols reduce inflammation and improve blood flow. And when the cocoa is heated – as opposed to cold chocolate milk – even more flavonols are released.
