A study from Singapore found that when people ate white rice with chopsticks, the rice’s glycemic index went down 16% versus eating rice with a fork! That means the people eating had less of an insulin spike. So, same rice but lower blood sugar… It was simply because the chopsticks made people take smaller bites and eat more slowly.
