The secret to a good night’s sleep may be painting your bedroom walls blue!
According to a study, people whose bedrooms are painted light blue get the most sleep – an average of 7 hours and 52 minutes a night. And here’s why those blue walls do the trick… It’s because we have special receptors in our eyes that control our sleep / wake cycle – and they’re most sensitive to the color blue. The worst color to paint your bedroom? It’s red – which stimulates our adrenaline. People in red bedrooms only managed to get less than 6 hours of sleep a night.
